Default Major Download Issue...

I really want to download KOTOR:II bad..but this is the problem..I get this for alot of software I search for..alot of files show up as 857.1 KB in size..and when I download them..I extract them..then I click setup..and BAM..setup wizard comes up..then it closes.Anyone else get this error? Anyone know how to fix it?

If you insist on downloading exe files the forum does not wish to hear about the titles ............... Forum rules

But if you insist on downloading them It is imperative that you have a fully up to date virus protector and you use it!

Search the forums for 857.1 and think before downloading a programme file of 857.xxx KB is that a sensible size for the file you are looking for.

Also search for Virus. That will make a LOT of reading.

I'm glad you've found the problem this post is really for people to read before they encounter it atall.

Default size 851.7kb files

Any file you find that is about this size is a virus. What it does is copies itself over and over again until you have no more space. If you delete the file, it respawns. It renames itself randomly, so no two files are the same name. Have fun, because norton 2005 doesnt even recognize it as a virus...

I have panda antivirus titanium..it just found 4000 viruses on my computer..lol its fixed now though
