is there a program to make movies shorter so they fit on a cd

Welp, there a some free programs for movie edits if thats what ou are referring too. You might have to do some web searching though to find them.

can someone post some sites with some movie editing software

there's a free site called: snapfiles.com, go to their freeware section and I think they have video editing software there, just not sure what kind you might need but they have all freeware there and is a reliable site to download from.
