Depends on how many people have the file, how many you connect to, what there connection speed is, how many people they are sharing with, So no it is virtually impossible to tell you how long the average file Will take. How ever long it takes is how long it takes. Sorry

Hi
I'm having the same problem with downloading movies. Even when i immediately select movies from a search list, not one of them even starts downloading.

I think it's got something to do with the latest version of limewire, since I used to be able to download movies very easily before.

Is there any way to put the previous version back?

Check firewalls. Firewalls block downloads. Full length movie downloads can take up to roughly two-four hours tops, depending on how large the file is and what speeds the dls have. Mvie files run from 600-700megs, depending on how they are formatted. and, their doesnt seem to be a way to get an old install back once you have gotten rid of it, believe me, I have tried. You might be able to search for one but, those shouldnt be trusted.
