ok, next step, do you have a 'my downloads' folder or a place where you keep installs or Limewire? You can begin to do a fresh install. and once it installs, it should go to you C:/Programs. and in your Doc Settings folders, that is the only place other than your start menu. when you install let the program create a desktop icon for ya to click on. let me know how ya do?

Go to the offical Limewire site. and start fresh.

www.limewire.com and download the latest free, basic, version into a 'downloads folder' or, wherever you keep installs on your c: drive. where do you keep installs on your drive? You should always keep a 'my downloads' folder handy for installs.

ok, I just found all my old downloads and I renamed it my downloads, I'll try installing it there, I'll let you know how it goes
