Searching in Limewire I have been trying to perform a search in limewire with no luck. No results appear. I performed the test you mentioned in a previous posting and the result came up false but my firewall is turned off. Help please!!! I have paid the two year membership and have no way of contacting them to cancel unless I upgrade to the pro version, which of course is more money!!! AAAahhhhh. |
I am afraid you have been conned into paying for a free application. Limewire basic is free pro costs $18.88 for a six month supply of e-mail support and pro upgrades., THis is the web site to download from, http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml This is one of many long threads showing that you are not alone, and you should read a bit of it. at least http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=40161 It may be that your limewire is a damaged one which is possibly why you are having problems. I advise you to try to get your money back, and also to do a complete fresh install of the latest Limewire basic from the limewire site at the link I gave you. after uninstalling/deleting all prefferences etc along with the application. |
ripped off as well ! Ive done the same as you, I paid for 12 months ! Ive read the fine print on refunds, they say that the software is free, its the tech support you pay for. What a SCAM!!!! :o :( |
