![]() I got a Limewire message stating "error-bug" disgard or review... I chose to discard, and ever since then I have not been able to connect to my old downloads. I am not sure if there is a direct correlation, but I have used limewire for a long time, and never had a problem downloading my incomplete files... |

![]() I'm not exactly sure of the details of what happens, but in options or preferences you will find bug reports. I was getting quite a few at one time as I had selected "always ask for a review" I never found any problem, but the bug report went off to Limewire and somehow, I imagine they picked up on something and cleared it up. As you have selected Discard, I guess the report is not getting back, so my first thought is to select either send imediately, or always ask for a review (and then send the report). This might help ... if not give us some more details of your set up,platform OS LW version etc. and any changes you might have made to your system just before this happened. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "connect to my old downloads" perhaps you could clarify that too. |

![]() When Limewire is first starting, it will say "loading old downloads" at the bottom of the screen. Then all current incomplete downloads will apear on the limewire main page. Now when I connect Limewire says "Cannot load old downloads". I do not know why this is happening, that is why I was wondering if I had a bug? Or if I accidently made some kind of change in my settings?.. |

![]() I'm with you ... being absolutely not very brilliant at computer stuff, I think bugs are really something that have to be sorted out by the developer, and not the user. so afaik debugging is not an option for the user. Having probably got that all wrong here is what you CAN do . With Limewire completely closed. delete the Preferences folder and when you restart LW will create a fresh preferences folder which, hopefully will be OK. If it solves the problem let us know too! ![]() Please note you will loose other configuration settings including the locations of your shared folders and these will have to be re-entered.
