Default HELP: cant open programs

wenever i try to open a program it says "LimeWire Will not launch the specified file for security reasons."

Limewire's Launch button is only intended for multimedia files!!! Not for programs or other type of files! If you want to open a file that isn't a multimedia type then open it from the actual folder. Not from Limewire. Something I learnt today or the day or week before was this from LOTR: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) Then open it. Use a can opener if necessary. If I'm really hungry I'll just use my teeth.

i tried to do wut u said but now it says "this application has failed to start because mss32.dll was not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem"

duz that mean i shud try and download it again?

That means you probably have a bad or incomplete file If I were you I would do a virus scan. The best advice I can give you is if you want the software go buy it. The odds are better than 50% you just downloaded a virus.
