a problem... i have 56kb/s connection speed and all i can reach at limewire is 7 kB/s well thats normal, but how come if i download something in my browser the download starts at like 28kB/s and more. and then slows to reach 7kB/s. i mean if i have only 56kb/s then why does my download start in a high speed. |
What you are seeing happens with all types of connections my self I have cable with a capability of 700Kb download allot of times when I first start Downloading it will be 800Kb but quickly will drop to 650 to 700 This happens when I am DL from Microsoft or any software company's That have connections capable of overloading me. In theory when you first start the download there is a clear channel for which information to travel through. But your ISP will detect the amount of bandwidth and throttle it to where it belongs. I do not know if this explanation is correct but it is the way it was explained to me. |
