Downloads won't even start.

Your Operating System : Windows XP Home Edition
Your version of your Gnutella Client : Limewire PRO 4.9.30
Your Internet connection : Cable
The exact error message, if one pops up : None
Any other relevant information that you think may help
Try to make your post descriptive, specific, and clear so members can quickly and efficiently help you

When I hit search and a list comes up for the song I requested, I cannot download them. I'm not waiting in line, when I hit download as, or even double click, no small window at the bottom comes up showing the downloads in progress. Is there any way I can change this? Maybe it has something to do with my firewall? I disabled that.

I've got the same system specs and the same problem. This problem did not occur with version 4.8.x. I've only noticed it with 4.9.x.

Yeah i am having the same problem too. I recently reformatted my computer but before that i had limewire 4.9 and it worked great so i dont know what is going on. It is really frustrating and hopefully someone fixes it very fast.

It sounds like you clicked no to the liscense warning popup.

In LW go to Tools>Options>View>Popups, then tick the box that says "Revert to Default" then click apply. Then try to d/l something and when the warning box popsup click "Always use this answer" then click yes.

Here's a link for more info:Downloading problems after selecting 'Licence' requirement option

Also you can find this info in the stickys at the top of this forum:).
