ok i am sharing my mix but when any of my friends do a search for it nothing shows up!
when i check the libary it is defo sharing cause i have over a hundred hits and one upload!
so it must be sharing but why can no one get it.
it doesnt even show up when i do a search
does anyone have any idea why this is not working for me??
if u do a search for dj banger thats the title and even let me know here if u can get it that wud be great

Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If the answer is False then you have a firewall issue at least partially blocking your incoming for uplds. That means people would struggle to upld from you.

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

Another technique to send files to friends is by using magnet links. You create them & email/message the magnet links to your friends. All they need to do is copy & paste the link into their browser address bar. Then their LW will open & start downlding the file. See How to use Magnet Links & Direct Connect

thanks for the info lord of the rings but just before i do all that
all my other files im sharing upload fine.
i checked the libary today and seen that i had an upload of my mix but it doesnt appear in any searches
so it seems like there r people getting it in their searches but no one i know!
it just seems abit weird

LW is not designed to be able to search it's own shared files. But in rate circumstances some people are able to find their own files in their searches. This in NOT the norm. It's some type of feedback (echo) issue I'm guessing. As I said, magnet links are an extremely effective method of sharing files. Directo connec is not always reliable & so many other factors can affect it such as firewalls, upld bandwidth available, local traffic, etc.

hi to all ,first timer here! had problems with my system & it was changed from xp home to proffessional. since then my search results are CRAP!! any ideas??
