how do i transfer songs to my mp3 player?

Very simply you need to have the songs you want on your mp3 player in a folder somewhere outside Limewire. Your download folder probably , and you drag/copy these into your mp3 player (possibly) ...for that bit of it you'll need the players instructions. That is what I would do on a Mac ... Windows may be more complicated,

when i download the songs, they just go into libaray, and then what?

If you go to Preferences or options> saving. You will see what folder your downloads are going to. It is probably the default location, and in Windows I'm not sure where that is. You need to go to that folder to take the copies of the files you want to go into your mp3 player, and how exactly you do that depends on the instructions for your mp3 player. The files in your limewire playlist are, I think you will find m3u files which are list files only ... not music files.

Personally I use an iPod and iTunes and everything is done automatically, so I'm not really able to tell you exactly how to get the songs onto your player. It may be possible to integrate it with iTunes or another player on your computer .. otherwise I GUESS you will have to create a folder for your tunes you want on the mp3 player and copy it to the player, or copy individual tunes from your download folder to the player.
