Keep getting this message pop up
 

Every time I start limewire and every 30 seconds or so I get this message.

I have uninstalled and installed twice and still get it.

Can anyone help please as I am out of ideas.

Which operating system & version are you using? It sounds like the permissions on your system have stuffed up. It might be worth a system overhaul checking with your system utilities. If you're using windows, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire or if OSX then, delete this file whilst LW is closed: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire

Make sure you're logged into your normal account & not attempting to save to the desktop or other area where you don't have permissions to save. I'm guessing that after a reboot & system check this problem might disappear. Where did you install LW & where are you trying to save the files to?

I downloaded the Java download

I got rid of the folder .Limewire. Uninstalled limewire and reinstalled it and now have no problems.
