hi, a folder with the name "complete" keeps appearing in my "shared" files section of limewire. It contains about 26,000 zip files with Movie titles. The file is not showing on my computer when I search for it, it is only on limewire. When I stop sharing the file it works for a little while then just reappears later on. In the options cache the file does not appear as a shared file, despite it clearly being open for sharing on limewire. At no point did i request this to be downloaded and it never goes through a downloading porcess, it simply appears. Is there any way to get rid of this permanently?

Do you have an anti virus cleaner? If so, scan your system to see if it infected any of your files. Sounds to me like you may have picked up something from Gnutella. And, double check your shared folder options to make sure the files you dont want shared are unchecked. Check your prefs to see if the folder had been shared for any reason. or, simply move that folder or, do what I do and rename it so it doesnt get shared.
