Ive used limewire for a while now, but for some reason yesterday it started screwing up on me. Like Ill go to search something and basically no or very little results come up. It worked for the longest time and has now stoped. Ive tried restarting my computer and reinstalling limewire but its still happening. Can anyone help?

There could be a number of reasons, but There is the possibility that your isp might be suddenly deciding to throttle p2p use. If you can rule this possibility out, a few details of your equipment... OS ... LW version and isp etc will give us something to go on

I just found it weird.. because i didnt touch anything and it all of a sudden stopped working

You have clearly updated to version 4.9.33 very recently so what wre you using before and how long after the update did this happen?

ive only got the new one because this was happening.. happened with the earlier version.(which I downloaded a month ago) as well

I'm wondering if Limewire is actually connected It should read something like excellent connection in the bottom left hand corner of Limewire.

ya it is .. it says it has a strong connection, which is weird.. like some results come.. but like there will only be 8 resulkts when there should be 800. I tried downloading ares and bearshare. and they both dont connect either. Its really annoying
