Filter out files by size? I've noticed while searching for videos many of the results are bogus, and the vast majority of the fake returns fall below 10,000 KB size, I know you can filter by keywords but is there any way to set my filter to ignore files below this size?? Thanks for the help. |
Not at this point in time. I requested a size filter last year but it looks like a while before it's adopted which is a pity. What you can do is, arrange your search results by size. Double-click the file size label at the top of the column of the search results. This will put the largest files at the top. Also, I think you'll notice most bogus files are wmv files which is why it's generally recommended to filter .wmv out. But then again, many people do like to downld wmv format.  |
Eh, that is a good idea, thank you very much, and thanks for suggesting the size filter to Limewire, that would be very helpful, I did do the .wmv thing, but some of the videos I like have been .wmv so that didn't work out for me. Thanks again. |
I click on the arrow on the bar, and make the larger files go on top and the smaller junk files stay at the bottom. That way, I dont have to deal with them. And I sort by filter. I dont see how they can filter by size as it would block the smaller files that are ligit. |
