 Limewire will search, but not download. info in thread I have Limewire 4.9.33 with windows XP, i connect from home using blueyonder (telewest broadband) as far as i know my only firewall is sygate personal which i have allowed limewire on, and i can connect fine to the network and browse files yet when i click on them, they dont download, i tried then connecting to a proxy, but still i can view searched items, but i cannot download them, if anyone else has had this problem or knows a solution please could you e-mail me at [email]*** Regards Candybars  Sorry no email addys in posts; Forum Rules   |

 You get search results but can't downld. Then see if this is the issue: License requirement (click on link) & check for setting default for popups. If that's not the problem then post back with some more details.

| Yep, thats fixed it, i think the problem was that when the license thing came up at first i clicked no by mistake ( i meant no as in ignore but it cactually did NO dont download) and checked the always use this answer box! thanks for your help, regards candybars |
