I recieved this computer from my college so i am unaware of any firewall beyond windows that they may or may not be using. Never the less i have gone through and unblocked LW in the windows firewall box and i have also gone through LW its self and allowed pop ups as denoted by this very message board. Despite my efforts i still cant download files of anykind and those that do connect run at speeds far below the par for the firewire connection the school provides. Is there some sort of patch i can obtain? or does someone have some advice?
