![]() Hey everyone, I recently bought Zone Alarm Security Suite for my new computer after installing my Limewire Pro again and for some reason everytime I run the virus scanner (which works fantastic by the way [no wonder it's the top-ranked security suite on the internet] sometimes it is too sensitive for me though) it will detect Limewire.exe the main core application file as a virus and try to delete it everytime. Now I know Limewire Pro isn't a virus and the fact it picked it up I'm not really too worried about because I'd rather it be too sensitive to Viruses and Spyware then not sensitive enough, but I have no clue how to stop it from deleting it everytime it scans with it still automatically deleting other viruses and spyware, but just ignoring that one file. If anyone has any ideas on how to help me any help would be greatly appreciated. Remember for any responses you can e-mail me at benjamin_blunt@yahoo.com. *Please no spam e-mails. |

![]() This happens to me, except it shows up as Adware (Using an anti-spy program and not Zone alarm btw). If you delete it, it deletes Limewire and you have to re-install it. Unless anyone else has other suggestions (which I'm sure they will) I would just ignore it. Maybe try doing other scans with other programs and see if they pick it up in the same way. |

![]() Its best to not post your email address open to the world on a forum or you'll be in for lots of spam instead of responses. Are there any settings in Zone Alarm to allow you to let it adjust to Limewire to let it through? Some AVs and other protections will detect P2P as a threat because it is mainly an open program to allow peer to peer downloading. You have to adjust firewalls to allow P2P use. |
