Can't Access Support
 

I have just paid for the pro version of Limewire and downloaded the latest version.
I have tried every which way to access the support section but it wont let me do it. Everytime I type my email address in the space provided it tells me my address does not exist and to use the one I registered with. Well I only have one email address and so it can't be anything else and I have checked the spelling of it and it is all correct. So how on earth can I access the support section if it wont accept my email address. I do not want to call by phone as it is an international phone number and it will cost me a fortune.So my only choice is online. I have tried live chat and I keep getting a page error message. So I have no way of getting any help :mad: I can access the members area with my email address but it wont accept or recognise the address for support. Where is the sense in that:mad:
I would also like to know who you can tell if you have the pro version installed.

Please private message the user mformel about that.

Look under the About LimeWire menu. If you see Pro information... Also, it there is no nag to upgrade to Pro at startup, you're using Pro.

Thank you for your reply. I now know that I have not got the pro version but I have paid for the pro version but as mentioned I can't access the support section because it tells me my email address does not exist.
I have paid for something I haven't received and it seems I can't do anything about fixing the problem.

Chriselle If you have been given a phone number it is not Limewires but that of a scam site. Limewire cannot be contacted by phone. Sorry..... but your answer lies in UKBobboys link

here is the page where I went to download limewire. On the webpage I clicked on 'Get Access to Winmx Now' because I have Winmx also and wanted to get it working again. From there I got the winmx download and also downloaded limewire from the same page and chose the lifetime membership. www.free-download-center.com/

Now that you know your "Lifetime Membership" is a sham it is now up to you to do something about it.

You can try to get your money back, put it down to your inexperience (going to a scam site) or both.
