cd vs mp3
 

I have burned a couple of cds after downloading some music on LW, but the cds will only play in my dvd/mp3 player...not in my car stereo which is what i want them for???
is the format different for a cd than for an mp3 player? if so, please tell me how to burn them to play as a cd. thanks.

Most car players can only play regular audio cd's, not mp3 disks. Either that or you've burnt your music at too high a speed. Some players such as older type players don't like audio cd's burnt at high speeds. Make sure you choose audio disk & not mp3 disk when you burn, & choose the minimum burn speed.

Try burning with the WMP(Windows Media Player)
Almost all things play WMAs

Well, wma's are roughly equivalent to mp3's & no, my car cd player won't play wma disks or my stereo system CD player. Not unless it's burnt specifically as an Audio format CD.
