My friends are recommending Limewire , as i have seen that the downloading speed reach up to 300 kb , and this is amazing, so i went home and download the program , but the speed is 9kbs , and alot of times i download something and it say need more sourses, although i try to download alot of results.
I HOPE YOU GUYS CAN HELP ME , I DON'T KNOW IF HAVING A ROUTER IS WHAT MAKE THE PROBLEM BUT HERES SOME INFO THAT MAT HELP:
1-I am using windows xp sp2
2-i don't have a firewall in the mahcine but i am using router and i have norten 2005 and i disables the worm thing on it .
3-ram is 1 GB
4-hard is 250
5-I am using a DSL 3 MB
6.The router is linksys WRT54G
7- i am using a wireless internet in my counter (laptop) and there is another pc connected directly to the router

Well XP has it's own firewall. For Norton, does that include the firewall or only the AV program? If you have the Norton firewall; see *Configuring Norton Internet Security & disable XP's firewall: go to the control panel, double click on Windoze Firewall, check the disable box.

If you don't have Norton firewall, then you'll need to configure XP's firewall: Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
