![]() Lately many MP3's i download do not preview or play at all. The files appear normal in search results but once downloaded there is nothing but silence. This never used to happen before but is happening a lot lately. Is this a record company conspiracy? Also search results list numerous totally identical files (and it is usually these that fail to play). Is there a link? Pls help... |

![]() what player are you using and are you checking to see if the files are not corrupt after you download em? I havent had any major problems with MP3 singles for downloads and I only download music files. Could it be a sound problem at your end? check your sound card & speakers. to answer your question, no, there's no conspiracy. The RIAA just sues users that share over 1000+ files instead. If downloading the top 40, files do get corrupt over a long period of time because everyone is downloading the same files a zillion times across the P2P network. Make sure they are ligit MP3 file extensions. some, do get wrongly named. and if corrupt, you might have to keep finding ones that aren't. |
