corupted files is there any way we can let other members know that a file we download is corupted or is a different file all together many thanks |
A great way would be by using chat, which, sadly, is very unreliable to the point of uselessness. I ocasionally re-share incorrectly named files .... re-named with NOT XXXX in capitals ... so hopefully one or two might notice them. The best tool for this is Bitzi look-up. If you right click on any file in the search window, you will be taken to the bitzi web site, where you will see listing for the file. These listings are not always complete, or even there atall, and it is up to us to put descriptions, corrections and ratings for files on the site. see also: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=37676 |
