movie with no video, only audio
 

Hi. I'm new to Limewire, and I successfully downloaded my first movie. The file was listed as .avi at 698.2 MB and windows media player format. However, when I try to play in media player, I can only get audio and no video. What am I doing wrong? Did I download only an audio file w/ no video? Somebody please help me out!!

Please read forum rules as posting titles is not allowed and to preview videos you need to download the codecs. I dont have the link on me but if you do a forum search, it should comeup. Media player doesnt play avi or dvd extensions but if you get the right codecs you shouldnt have any problems viewing the movie files. good luck. ;)

by the way .avi files are divX files and u can dwnload DivX from www.divX.com or get the codecs for media player frm sumwhere.
