Hi, I've got a slight problem with one download one limewire. It a film and i've only got it to download once to about 1%, previewed it and the films ok (couldn't get it to start again either), but whenever i do a search i always get multiple copies of the same download and they never appear as the same file. Each ones the same size and has exactly the same name. I was just wondering why i keep getting so many copies of the same thing over and over and why the results aren't grouped together to appear as the same file.

It's always been like that. It only takes one bit or byte in size difference or the tagging of the file is slightly different which results in a different hash tree. Be patient I guess. Some people only use gnutella at certain times or weekends, etc. If someone has more than one file I'm interested in then I'll browse them & make a note of their ip. Then later, I'll try to direct connect to them. Which is fine so long as their ip doesn't start with 192 as that represents someone who isn't properly configured & impossible to direct connect to.
