Reverse percent? uhm.. what the? This is what happened, a few days ago.. I started a download.. not naming what download, but as it reached 95% (I was bored so I was watching the dl bar) it suddenly drops to 20%.. and then 5%.. now ive only been dling this 640mb file for two days now.. so my delete incomplete file option should of had nothing to do with it.. (was set for 7 days) and now im waiting for it to finish again.. any idea what happened hear? freak accident? kidnaped file? or was the percentage wrong? I indefinitly know I was atleast at 80%... going 2 days with about 10-20kb (Bloody buggers and low share ratio) but yes... hopefully someone knows what happened.. cant get the file back.. but atleast I can know why it happened.. kind of annoying when I have a cap of 7gig.. more aless 1gig down the toilet.. anyways! hope to hear from anyone soon. |
Ammera I have had something similar happen to me as well but not in the extreme manner you have experienced. When LW is verifying a file, after it has been downloaded, it will check the file, with some sort of checksum, to see if it is still intact and not corrupt. However, if LW finds some corruption it will go back to the point in the download where the file was not corrupt and restart the download from there. However, sometime a download becomes corrupted during the downloading process and, if you choose this option, LW will abandon the file. Hope this helps. UK Bob |
