I want to continue dl'ing files that are incomplete from when I used WinMX.

I copied these incomplete files to the proper folder being used for LimeWire but get the message that its not a valid incomplete file and cannot be resumed. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. OH, btw also any feedback on ports would be handy also as my connection is not a steady as I would like.

P2P Programs store their incomplete files history/progress in a special downld preferences file. Since this file is only usable by the specific program it belongs to, it wouldn't be usable by LW & LW's downld preferences also have no record of these files. So the simple answer is no.

Here's some other ports you can try: 1111, 3500, 4008, 1203, 10000, 15189, 80, 20282, 22817, 443, 34599, 40475.
