Scrolling the Uploads and Downloads I know, this has been posted a million times, and I searched and read posts but can't seem to get it to work. I use LimeWire 4.9.29 and I have the newest version of Java. JRE 5.0 or whatever it is. Anyway, the mouse wheel always used to work but I did a system recovery and now, when I reinstalled LW, it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. |
Anyone :S |
Anyone?? I've tried what I've found in other posts but nothing helps... |
I'm not sure if this'll work, but try deleting your LW preferences. Instructions in here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36420 Close LW before deleting the folder. You might have to re-set your preferences (options) after, so make a note of them;) |
Also, I don't know if it makes a difference, but my mouse wheel always worked for my computer and Limewire, then one day I upgraded Limewire and not only did it stop working for LW but now it works for nothing...I have to click and drag the scrollbar or use the arrow keys on everything that is scrollable...However I found a couple new things to try and am currently trying what the previous poster suggested so if I still need help I will post back in a bit. |
TheRockMan, Try the preferences folder & see first. I've had a prob like this & it turned out to be a trojan. Do an AV scan, also spyware & addware scans. *Don't really want to jump on the ol' bandwagon, but did you get your LW from www.limewire.com ?? |
Yes, I got it from www.Limewire.com, and uhh I gotta go at the moment but I will finish testing some possible problems tommorow and reply...Till then. |
