Trouble...
 

I have the Basic LimeWire... Um... Ive tried reinstalling several times for this problem but it persists. It will not allow me to download any songs. I double click the song file or right click and select download... But nothing happens. My computer doesnt lag either. Its really annoying... Please help.

It's sounds like the license warning pop-up. In LW go to Tools>Options>Searching>Basic> then tick the box "Show License Warning" then click apply.
After that try to d/l something and when the License warning pops-up tick "always use this answer" then click "yes" and you should be good to go.

Unfortunately, that did not help. I did what you said to try and it was already checked. I unchecked then rechecked and it remains that I still cant download. >.<

But you say you are getting search results? You could try in LW Tools>Options>View>Popups>Tick "Revert To Default" hit apply then try to d/l something.

Make sure you click apply for the changes to take effect.
