router settings needed Hi, I have windows xp pro running a 350.50kbps connection using 2wire modem and router (all in one) My problem: My downloads are all 1kb/s and as you are now aware my connection is able to do much more. I have tryed to go onto my homeportal and change the firewall settings I added gnutella to the hosted applications. I have tryed to set my limewire on a manual port and upnp or whatever and have tryed configuring windows firewall settings. Now if anyone knows of any further setting I must change for my router please post. I really would like to download files at more then 1kb/s Thank you for your help Andrew |
You can find instructions for manual port forwarding for 2wire at the top left of this page http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false, then a firewall or nat router is blocking incoming. Or I guess it could also be your ISP filtering/shaping your p2p sharing bandwidth. |
