incomplete downloads persist Nice try, really. Sounds way plausible. However, I have 44 gigs (well, 43.98, lol!) of free space on the internal drive I initially download to, so space issues should not obtain. Downloaded media files I wish to save for further/future uses after burning them off to CD eventually end up on an outboard drive which currently has just over 60 gigs free. So I'm still solutionless. WAAAAAAAAH! (Doesn't anybody else here miss the "good old days" of WinMX? and/or heard any scuttlebutt re if/when this service will again be available in the U.S.? I tried Kazaa for a while, a few months back, but found it to be even worse than Limewire for my particular purposes. Bleah.) |

still no solution mickjapa108 wrote: Sorry man, this is simple but quite oftern the problem. Understood! No sense knocking oneself out with tricky solutions until the simple/common ones have been tried without success, neh? Make a new thread cos your post may go unseen here. That's what I initially did. But every reply (delivered to my email) directs me to THIS specific thread instead. Go figure. Give as many details as you can. What have you tryed allready. What java are you using, LW version, the more info, the easer it is to work out your problem. Yes indeed. I'm running LW 4.12.6. Dunno what my Java version has to do wwith the price of eggs in Beijing (translation: this is the tech level where I start chewing my nails and rolling my eyes like a deer in the headlights, lol), but it appears from here to be 1.5.0_09 with the 1.5.0_b64 patch. Anything else you need for a differential diagnosis? Still crazy after all these years -- spike |

Hi, just keen to know how to resume my files from where they last off. LimeWire was closed download normally. I just re-installed windows, because i bought new hard drive. I still have the incomplete directory, instead of it being C:\incomplete , it is not D:\incomplete When i check my files they are all still there, but I dont know how to resume the files. They seem to start from 0%. Please can somebody let me know what to do. Oh, I also use version 3.8 of LimeWire. Thank you for reading. |
