Question bizarre file size error and disk error & Aborted files

I get some very large files that say they've completed 2% but in windows explorer incomplete folder it shows that they're the full 100% file size! How is that possible?

Plus I get some downloads that say 100% but say disk error. So I look for the file in the incomplete folder, click on it and it's defective somehow though it's finished. I assumed it just couldn't move it to the Limewire folder for some reason. Is there an explanation for this?

Why are files aborted with absolutely no ability to do anything with them but manually find and delete the files from your incomplete folders? You'd think LW could be kind enough to rename the file A-filename.~~~ so you know which ones are aborted and which ones are good still.
