connection speed drops.. Help please
 

Dear Sirs,
I have been using limewire as my sole dl program for over a year. I have noticed that towards the end of downloads (90-99%), the dl speed drops quite noticeably. Usually to 1 or 2kbs down from 50-100kbs. It also slows down, not to that degree, but near 15kbs, after I've downloaded several things. Restarting doesn't help. Sometimes it drops so low, it sits at zero. Usually beginning another DL will kick it up to 1kbs or so. Please help, I've been getting stuck at 99% recently before it stops altogether. Thanks!!

ps: my system is a compaq presario v4000, 1.3ghz, 512 ram, windows xp home, SP5, connects through wireless router.
