Is limewire supposed to be so slow I have a broadband connection but after trying many downloads I still am getting 20kb/s from 7 hosts Is this normal

216kbs / 8 = 27Kb/s so 27 Kb/s would be you maximun DL speed so 20 is pretty good for your connection.

Then I guess no one wants to know that on some recent files I was d/ling 50 at a time and many of them with up to the CAP of 10 hosts and a combined d/l speed of 150 to 230. That is on a slow DSL connection. Got rid of Cable and do better with DSL.
