Ok I looked at "Monitor" to see if any of my shared files have been uploaded. I'm getting the impression that some of them were attempted but no success because I think it may be a firewall problem. I did go to ools >options >bug reports >view example then scroll down to 'Recieved incoming this session'. It was supposed to say true or false, and it's false so something's not right.

I also tried going to http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml but none of the firewalls here listed what I got. I have a D-Link Air utility or the D-Link Air DWL-520 Wireless PCI Adapter which is my default. I'm not sure what the model number is nor do I know how to find out. I tried going to properties but it didn't tell me. I clicked on the icon for the router and clicked on the "wireless connections" tab, down to properties button then the association tab and found that checkbox by "this is a computer-to-computer (ad-hoc) network, wireless access points are not used" are shaded out so I can't check it.

How do I deal with this kind of firewall or router and get it to work with limewire?

I also have a DELL, Windows XP Home Edition and the ISP I have is Cox.
