Error: unable to browse host

when trying to see what other people have, I get ERROR: unable to browse host, on every single person. I used to be able to see stuff, how do I fix it? can somone email me instructions?

Hi PhantomSniper801,
Do you have chat enabled?? From what I understand, it's easiest to browse a host if you both have chat enabled. Also, it's easier to browse while you're downloading from the host, rather than while they're uploading from you.
Hope this makes sense:D
