Check this thread and see if it helps: 'Licence' requirement option

Also in limewire go to Tools>Options>Downloads> and make sure Max Downloads isn't set at zero if it is set it at 8. It won't d/l if it's at zero. You may still be able to d/l from behind a router.

If your getting search results you have to be connected. Did you do this, In limewire go to Tools>Options>Searching>Basic> then tick the "Show License Warning" box, then click apply.

The next time you go to download something the "License Warning" box should pop-up. tick "Always use this Answer" then click "yes". You should be able to start downloading.

If none of that works you may have to port forward your router.http://portforward.com/routers.htm Follow the instructions. It's very important to set up a static ip first.

Default Someone help..!

I had limewire on my system before, and never had a problem. But i have since reinstalled windows, and now i can search for something...receive results, but am not able to download at all. I am not behind any firewall at all, nor am i behind a rounter. I read through this thread, and tried everything that was mentioned. If someone could help me that would be great.

You could try it this way, in LW go to Tools>Options>View>Popups>Tick the box that says "Revert to Defaults" then click apply then ok. Then search for something, right click on the file, click "Download" and A "Message" box should popup tick "Always use this Answer" then click yes. If that doesn't work post back and we'll try to dig a little deeper.
