Help Needed Hi Guys, Im the first to admit I dont know what im doing. Ive saved a playlist created on my office PC and then emailed it to my home PC. However when trying to play the music I get the following error: "Windows Media Player cannot play any items in this playlist. For additional information, right-click an item that cannot be played, and then click Error Details." Does anyone know what im doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Hi Pistol. You can not e-mail a playlist in this way! You need to have the actual files copied onto your home pc. by transfering them in some way, by copying them to a data disk for instance, or using an external drive of some sort. An ipod for instance can be used for this purpose by enabling disk use. You can e-mail the files or send them via a chat client, but this will take quite a long time, depending on the size of your files! You will need to find the mp3 or wma files on your office computer, possibly by looking in Limewire's preferences or options > saving > save folder. You are probably trying to transfer m3u files which are playlist files only. They are not music files. I hope this helps. |
