Download issue! Please help Just downloaded Limewire 4.9 on a friends pc. It connects ok and I am able to do searches. But upon clicking on a song to download it, it doesn't do anything. There is no response whatsoever. Normally it will drop to the downloads window and do its thing. I disabled his firewall and still no response. He has XP service pack 2 and is connected to the same router as I am. I ,however, have no problems downloading although I still have 4.8, just haven't upgraded yet. I was thinking maybe it was the router, but if I am downloading ok, I would think not. I tried to change the port in Limewire, even uninstalled/reinstalled Limewire. That didn't help. Is it a connection problem or pc issue?? Anyone have any ideas or come across this before? I would much appreciate some help. Thanks. |

Fixed it! Never mind. Had to 'revert Popups to default' under Tools\Options\View\Popups. Then restarted program to allow pop up for license agreement to show when downloading a song. Must click Yes and select 'Always Use This Answer. Downloading without a problem now. Stupid license agreements...ugh! |
