 The Longer it Downloads, the Slower it gets. I have Limewire Pro running on 550Mhz Windows XP box with 300+meg memory. I have a 100mps internet cable connection. As I write this I am downloading a 660mb divx file. I have a full 10 host connection showing. The transfer rate peaked at about 195kps within the 1st minute or 2 and has since steadily declined to where I am now running between 44kps and 75kps. I have seen this happen before with music downloads as well. The longer the download takes the slower it seems to get. Any reasons why this might be happening?  |
