Angry Please Help Me Figure This Out!!!!!

I have now tried numerous times to install Limewire on my computer. I have followed everything to the "T" and it keeps hanging up once it is trying to install the Java2TMRuntime. I have followed the "FAQ'S" info and all is okay, except when it gets to the part where it says to do the "cntrl, alt, del" and then select the Java2TM Runtime. That's not there at all. So I "end task" the next one, which is the install Limewire window. Then I try click on the Limewire icon and it gives me a "1628" error code.

What the heck is wrong? What am I doing wrong? Why can't I get this system on my computer? This site came highly recommended, but if you have this many problems in getting it downloaded on your computer.....then, it's not worth it!!!!

Someone ------PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I am having the same exact problem and its really frustrating. A lot of people talk good about LimeWire but I have to agree with the first guy. Its not worth all my time to try and figure it out when WinMX works just fine for me. If anyone knows how to help with this please let me know at **EDIT EMAIL ADDRESS** Thanks
Emmie

Lightbulb 1628 error

Well, mine finally works. Let me tell you how I did it. I erased LimeWire completely out of my system. Then I downloaded the Java2Runtime FIRST, then I downloaded LimeWire.......IT WORKS!!!! LimeWire is really worth it once you figure that part out!

Good luck! By the way, I'm the one who originally posted this complaint......
