![]() Hi everyone! Been reading through the forum topics and found a lot of usefull tips. Still I couln't find the answer to my biggest question, so I'll post it here. I want to maximize my uploads. I would like to share ALL my music. I thought I did this by sharing my main music folder. Still I noticed lots of uploads get comments like: "file not found". Within my main music folder I've got lots of music tucked away in other folders, mainly sorted by Artist. My question: could it be that uploaders can't access music that's in folders within folders? And if so: what to do about that? I've started adding lots of folders to my Sharing File-list, but still see the 'file not found' comments. Someone have a suggestion how to share all my music? |

![]() I don't think it should matter. You should still be able to share all of your files. For example, if you share your 'My Music' folder, and all of your subfolders are in there, you should be sharing all of your files. You can verify this by noting how many files are in the green oval at the bottom of the Limewire interface. ![]() |

![]() Do you have a brick wall in front of the blue globe at the bottom of the Limewire interface? Sometimes there can be a firewall issue, with you capable of downloading, but with uploads restricted. Do you ever see any activity in the 'Monitor' tab? Look in the LW library. Each file should have the number of successful downloads and number of download attempts listed (i.e. 17/30). |

![]() I am firewalled, monitor tab shows constant searches, under the library tab it shows 0/0. I saw one posting that talked about "pushing" my IP address but didn't say exactly how to do that. Maybe no one wants whats in my shared folder? |

![]() If you want to resolve the issue, we will need more information: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=62652 If you're sharing anything remotely popular, you should see some upload attempts. If you want to, try downloading something that you know that a lot of people would want. See how it goes. |
