gebby is flying high
Default could not open file

Help in opening file. I have downloaded a file and the error reads:

Could not open file ........because file name was bad.

Any clue on what to do?

What type of file is it? Which operating system is it? If it's a video, my guess is it's a codec issue.
Try VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) to open it if it's a video or audio file.

But the filename might also be too long & chopping out the extension of the file or too long for the particular program or whatever to open it. Try shortening the filename.
