Default Downloads

I have just today downloaded LW after searching when I try to download a song nothing happens it won't downlaod. What could be the cause???

Go to tools > options > downloads. If your maximum downloads are zero, change the number to whatever suits you. Press apply to save changes.

If this is not the problem, have a look here

nah sorry it didnt help, i guess its more of a connection problem i mean even when i do have a good connection to the network it like wont download and it keeps saying i have a firewall preventing it from running but i dont lol

So you have no firewalls at all?? (Possibly not such a good idea!) The forum's running at snail pace for me so it's easier if you answer this stuff here, rather than me go to all your other posts & see.

Your connection bars are ok?

What's your set up:
OS
LW & Java version ( help > about LW & it'll tell you)
ISP
Modem/router brand & model
Connection type
Where you connect from

Have you tried deleting your LW preferences folder?
Have you done the port 6436 test:
http://www3.limewire.com:6346

It could be a router issue.

See here for how to delete your preferences. This is an example from Frostwire, so just look for the LW folder instead. Make sure you do this with LW closed!!:
