I LOVE Limewire! However... When I see such files as the following.. It makes me sick... I haven't downloaded any of them, the titles alone make me wonder what kind of sick person would them...:

There were more in the list... I don't mind coming across a few porn videos in my search.. But to find such a collection... It's wrong..

Unfortunately LimeWire can't control what people share. All we can hope for is that the sh*ts who promote kiddy porn will be prosecuted in the end.

You can go to Tools > Options > Filters > Keywords and tick ignore adult content. You can also filter out certain keywords.

It won't make it go away, will just stop you from seeing as much of it in your searches

If you have the host's IP, you can add them to your blocked list. I think there's an FBI site you can report this to but I can't find it!! Use the search (top right, between faq and home), if you want to find out more.

You might be reprimanded for posting the ip number as it against forum rules. It is also possible that the illustration you gave is of an unknowing host who hasn't checked his/her files preoperly. but all in all I don't really care. They should be publicised and should get their just rewards.

Whatever happened to the golden rule of NOT being allowed to post IP's on the forum? And what are you typing in that you're getting porn? Are you LOOKING for it? Because if you have your filters turned on, you can block the porn. I have yet to get porn in my searches.

Maybe if you didnt go out of your way to search/browse a host you wouldnt see the porn. and Limewire has no control over the P2P network. Nothing can be done about it. Stop looking for the porn and you wont find it.

Birdy: I didn't know filters were in Limewire, I'm rather new to it . However I will be using the filter now. I hate the fact that even though I won't see it, I know it will be there... I've searched around to report kiddie porn but I too have yet to find it.

Sphinx: I am going to remove the IP address immidiately seeing as it's against the rules of the forum. If you do a search with JUST dvd/video genre, porn is included since I hadn't realized the filter. I browsed the host because of the odd name a file had. I realize Limewire has no control. I was curious as to if Limewire had a way of finding such hosts having them punished. It would be hard to figure a way but it would be great to get rid of disgusting crap like child porn... Now that I'll have my filter set I won't be posting about this again I bet.
