![]() My son downloaded the new version of ITUNES yesterday and since then, we have been unable to launch any songs onto our itunes library. We can download the songs but we can't launch them. What can we do?? If this problem can't be fixed, would I be able to install another version of Limewire and unistall the version that currently exists on my computer? Thanks so much! |

![]() You have posted identical questions saying you can't download files atall I assume that those are now not needed. If so you can go to them (search for posts by yourself) and select edit and then delete them. That will save us time trying to help you. If we were paid copious amounts of money by the hour I wouldn't ask LOL ![]() 360 share is not an official version of Limewire by the way, but that is another story, and I think your problem should be helped by this thread, and would not in this instance be cured by installing a different Limewire version. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36230 |

![]() Thanks so much for your input, ONLY A HOBO, but I believe that the reason that I can't launch any songs to the ipod library is because the green music symbol that is to the left of the song title is not present, In all of the examples that you just gave me through the link, The green music symbol is there -- on my limewire, the symbol is a white box with a blue and red dot in it. Limewire was working fine with the green music symbol but not at all with this file symbol. And it was working great up until yesterday when my son downloaded the new itunes version. Any suggestions as to what we can do -- I am getting so frustrated! Thanks again!! |

![]() Perhaps I am not totally understanding you ![]() You mention iPod Library. ... There is no such thing. There is iTunes Library and Limewire Library. The green music icon, I am assuming is a semiquaver (or something ... a long time since I scraped thrugh grade 2 piano lol) with mp3 written under it. This will have a .mp3 extention. The files you are mentioning. Do they have an extention ? If so what is it? If the extention is m3u then these are not music files they are playlist files which appear in Windows, but not in mac (which I use) afaik . Please tell me where you are seeing this icon. and also go to limewire options or preferences > saving > save folder. go to this folder and see what the files there look like. and do they have an extention. Also: Is this the first time you have installed iTunes, and what was your mp3 player on your computer before you got iTunes? |
