Downloading re-directs to some webpage. Plz help!

Sorry guys, I was acting like a forum newbie with that one post. I too had the License problem but after reading how do fix it, it took it off but I still have a problem when I go to download it opens some webpage that isn't even active. I know some of the advice given was to click 'Yes' and the license popup would go off but I never was able to even do that. I'd check yes and it would just open that non active webpage. I took "Lord of the Rings" advice when talking about the License popup. I went to 'Tools', 'Options', 'View' and then to 'Popups'. I tried to check the "Revert to Default" box thinking that would fix it, but after I hit apply, it would go back to being unchecked. Do I have virus or something?

What type of file are you trying to download to make this happen ... mps or avi for instance should not cause this, but wma or wmv are files that can cause this sort of thing to happen and this is one reason they are best avoided. I could not entirely follow your post but, let me know if I'm getting warm. Also what address is your Browsaer trying to go to . It is possible you have a virus or some sort of spyware, and can you tell us if you are running anti-virus and anti-spyware software. [you should be!]
