Default installed new system (w2000), had to reinstall limewire, can't connect my "incomplete

Hello!
I'm new here, and maby there is already an answer to my question and I just didn't find it (allthough I searched!).

I installed a new system (w2000) on my hard-d-drive sysC:
Now I had to reinstall limewire, and now, allthough I still can open the folder >incomplete downloads< (about 200 pieces) which is on hard-d-drive dataD: limewire doesn't fall back up to these files to complete these downloads.
Do I have to put'em all (piece by piece) into the search again and restart every singel download, or ist there an easy way out to make limewire reconnect to this old folder?
Greetings, Andy

I'm not 100% understanding your problem. You reinstalled LW, but your incompletes are not being recognised & not loading into LW is that your problem? If it is, then go to LW's Library window, select incomplete folder, select the incompletes press the Resume button. This will force them back into the download window. But I must warn, doing this will mean they'll start at 0% despite their size.

The question is why did this happen in the 1st place. Normally when you install a new version of LW, it will use the previous LW preferences & settings so it will know where the downld folder is & know where the incompletes are. Here's a list of the main reasons the incomplete files won't load into LW: Downlds refuse to reload (click on link)

I'm wondering if you've deleted the LW preferences folder before re-installing LW. And then chosen a different location to downld your files to after installing LW. In that case, LW will choose a new location for the downld folder & won't know anything about the previous downld or incomplete folders. The download preferences are stored in 2 files called download.dat & .bak & are found in the incomplete folder. They could be moved from the old incomplete folder to the new one along with the other incompletes (but LW must be closed at this time) if this is the reason.

Normally if you change downld location whilst LW is open, LW will move the incompete files to the new location incomplete folder.
