I have broadband with a connection speed of 2.3 mb but yet when i download a file it still only downloads at 3-10 kb/s. Can someone please tell me if there is something on limewire or my computer i need to change or something. Im not a computer wizzard so im kinda rubbish at this stuff so if someone could help me that would be great thanks.

Because your question has been answered many times before, and you are expected to read the rules and search the forums first before asking the same question.

Also, it's a very difficult question to troubleshoot, since the reasons for slow downloads being slow are usually not because of the LimeWire software.

If you want a decent test of download speeds, try one of the files from a reliable server, like those listed on http://www.magnetmix.com/audio2.shtml (they are free and authorized for sharing, and can usually hit speeds > 100 KB/s).
