Limewire 4.10 - I tunes

Hi,

Just downloaded most recent Limewire on my Mac (4.10), can search fine, and download fine, but when the files get to 100%, they verify ok, but then don't appear in my Limewire folder in itunes.

Anyone else have this problem/know what it might be?

help much appreciated- v. frustrating!!

Cheers,
Thom

I'm guessing you're using windows right? Check you still have iTunes sharing supported. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>iTunes>Sharing & check that it's enabled. I'm not sure how long it takes for iTunes to read these new files because I have the option turned off. You may need to relaunch iTunes for it to read them. I'm only guessing but that should definitely work.

Am actually on a G4 powerbook Mac at the moment, having the same problem- I know there must be an option somewhere to select, but not sure where- like I said, with the last version of limewire they went straight into a folder called Limewire in itunes as soon as they had downloaded

Think I've sorted it now- changed the destination folder in Limewire preference- thank you LOTR- one other thing- now Have (My name's) Limewire Tunes in iTunes and want to get rid of it (It wasn't there before). Is there any way to do this?

Thank you, again!

Use & comma to bring up the LW preferences & check you have LW support checked. I found LW would sometimes stop importing songs if it was too busy. Sometimes just re-starting LW would solve that problem. Stief noted the same issue after repairing permissions. But after quitting & restarting LW would generally over come this. Try it & see how it goes.
